When Jalil made Mariam marry Rasheed, she knew her life would be drastically different. Throughout this dreadful marriage, Mariam has to put up with Rasheed's constant carping. Her food was never cooked well enough, and she was almost always neglected. With Rasheed's insatiable attitude, Mariam had to learn how to become a good wife. Mariam cleaned all day, made sure dinner was ready, and had to put up with Rasheed's constant abuse. Most of the time Mariam tried to spark up a conversion, Rasheed would remain in a taciturn manner. She was lucky if he even glanced at her. Even though Mariam had to endure this treatment, she knew she didn't have a choice.
Nana was intransigent when mariam wanted to go see Jalil. She tried to eschew Mariam away from Jalil and his wives because she knew that they did'nt really care about Mariam the way she did. Despite how much Nana would talk badly about Jalil Mariam still tried to emulate him.
when Mariam married Rasheed it was just all bad he was very invidious towards her and did not show her the love she deserved. She was forced to eat banal food and work her but off for him with no reward at or even a simple gesture of appreciation. His approval was just insatiable. But still she tried for years. Then Laila came into the picture and Mariam became slightly jealous until she relized why even be jealouse hes not even a good guy.
When Rahseed was getting ready to beat Marium, Laila was not jus gunna ESCHEW and just leave. Instead she stopped rasheed from the beating. This helped laila SUBSTANTIATE that Marium lived a rough life. Maruim and Laila became good friends and were starting to connect. At first before they connected it seemed that Marium was very INVIDIOUS to laila, and laila could easily tell that. Marium Was very Taciturn about being beaten by Rasheed, but it didnt seem like she cared about it either.
Mariam began her life getting constant invidious comments from her mother. Although the comments hurt Mariam, she loved her mother because she was all she had. When her mother kills herself, Mariam feels extreme guilt. Her father then asks her to marry Rasheed, and she knows there's no way to temporize. She has to marry Rasheed because there's no other life for her. As she goes off with Rasheed, it's the beginning of a very submissive and taciturn life for Mariam.
Mariam already feels like she doesn't belong an her dad is eschewing her. Because he is only around once a week. And is keeping her hidin in a shack, so nobody has substantiates about her. So Mariam is a very invidious person in this part of the book.
When laila first became rasheeds wife laila and mariam were not close because mariam thought that laila was trying to steel rasheed and mariam was jealous of laila. Rasheed was about to beat mariam and then laila was capable of tenabling rasheed because hitting a girl was very invidious to her. After laila stopped rasheed from beating mariam, laila and mariam soon became very close with eachother. After laila protected mariam they became very coherent with eachother.
laila has a INSATIABLE urge to be closer with her mother. It doesnt happen because her mother is too interested in the well being. Even after death it seems like Mammy is ESCHEWING from getting closer to laila, even when Laila is really COHERENT about her feeling.
When the Taliban first entered the city, Laila didn't believe that women would tolerate men arrogating their jobs and treating them with disrespect. However, women chose to be taciturn and cowardly. Women decided not to stand up for themselves because they figured they wouldn't substantiate enough to change the Talban.
Rasheed, Mariam and Laila's carping husband was a pest throughout the entire novel. He beat them all the time. Mariam and Laila were able to overcome this because of their very coherent bond. Although this bond didn't always exist, at first Mariam had an intransigent atitude towards Laila. But in the end they stuck together and overcame all those hardships they were faced with.
the word i would take to the movies is convivial because it means festive end the movie i would take it to see would be Mr.Deeds because adam sandlers charector in the movie is always in a good festive mood
If I were going to take a word to the movies it would be Rebuff and we would see Mean Girls. That movie is all about different cliques snubbing people. Rebuff means to snub so it would be fitting. =] -Gina
